Match Trivia

Played at Kinning Park on Saturday afternoon. The Rangers won the toss and started with the wind in their favour. They soon carried the ball down towards the stranger’s goal and after getting a corner kick sent it through at the end of the first five minutes play. They followed this up by another successful attack and soon had two goals to their credit. The Hearts took the ball back towards the Rangers goal several times but it was quickly returned and the most of the play was on the strangers ground. After the ball had been sent over the bar twice the Rangers took their third goal in a very easy way. Shortly before time was called they were again successful and when ends were changed the goal stood at four goals to none. In the second half of the game the play of the strangers improved and they made more capital runs for the Rangers goal but never succeeded in passing the ball through. The Rangers continued to have the best of it and took other three goals making them winners by seven goals to none
