This match was played at the ground of the former Ibrox Park, and resulted in a draw – one goal each. The Rangers won the toss and played with the wind in their favour. The leather was run up to the stranger’s citadel, but was soon driven back to midfield, where some good passing was witnessed, and ultimately resulted in a goal for the Saints.
