Match Trivia

The members of the Scotch Canadian team made their first public appearance yesterday when they tried conclusions with the Rangers at Kinning Park. There was a good turn out of spectators who evinced considerable interest in the doings of the team, which is to represent the old country on the other side of the Atlantic. T Vallance captained the light blues and WS Somers had charge of the Scotch Canadians team. The Scotch Canadians played with the wind during the first stage of the game and succeeded in scoring three times for their opponents once. In the second half the members of the ‘light and speedy’ worked very hard and they placed a second goal to their credit, the match thus finishing in favour of the Scotch Canadians team by one goal
