Match Trivia

This match was played at Kinning Park and ended in favour of the home team by five goals to none. The weather prevented a large attendance of spectators rain falling nearly all the time the game lasted. Although the home eleven wanted the services of two of their players (Gillespie and Inglis) who were playing at London the Kinning Park men showed up in good form particularly in the second half and completely beat their opponents at all points. For the Rangers Heggie (at centre), Hamilton, Pringle and Cameron (at half-back) played best; while Phillip, Ballantyne, MacKenzie and Kaye were the pick of the Pilgrims
