Match Trivia

Teams representing these clubs met last night on the ground of the former at Kinning Park, in presence of a pretty large turnout of spectators. The Rangers kicked odd, and in the first half Heggie who played on the right wing shot a goal for his team. In the second half the visitors strove hard to make matters even, but notwithstanding their clever defence J Gow (left wing) made a beautiful run from the middle of the field and passed the ball through thus making the record of the Rangers two goals while their opponents failed to score. The ground was in very bad condition being muddy with the heavy rain, which had fallen during the afternoon.
