These teams met at Clune Park, Port Glasgow last night in a benefit match on behalf of Mr Thomas Williams of the local club, who has been invalided for a long time. There was quite 2500 spectators present. For the first twenty minutes or so the game was of an even description, but if anything the ground club had slightly the pull.
