Match Trivia
Played at Hydepark, the Rangers scoring 5 goals against the Northerners 3. The ground which at the best is not suitable for good football playing was in poor condition, and as the distance between the two goals was very limited. Scoring was more frequent than under ordinary circumstances. The good back play of Vallance for the Rangers and Watt for the Northern at times owing to the short distance between the ends proved good shots for goal. It was almost runs in such limited space, the game throughout being a tame one
