Match Trivia

The celebrated Glasgow Rangers for the first time this season paid a visit last Saturday, and tried conclusions with the Portland. The result after a fine display of the passing game was a draw, both teams getting one goal, both of which were taken in the first half. The Portland were first successful, scoring from a high shot from H Campbell, and the Rangers goal was registered from a long shot by Drinnan. The Glasgow team were all in good form, their forwards passing very neatly, the backs also kicked well, the long kicking of their popular captain as also the dodging powers of Gillespie at goal were much applauded. For the Portland Gallacher and Harrison in the front, and Rome and Ritchie in the back division played well
