Match Trivia
This fixture was brought off at Easter Road Edinburgh on Saturday and attracted a very large crowd of spectators. The strangers won by four goals to one. The Rangers were not long in showing what they could do after the ball was set in motion. They carried the ball into home territory at once and although they were kept at bay for a minute or two they succeeded through the fine dribbling of M McNeil to get down on the Hibernian goal and at the proper time the ball was passed to Pringle who scored about 10 minutes from the start. The Hibernian got the next and as it happen only goal for their side through G Byrne having made a splendid run. He passed to Donnelly who in turn gave the ball in charge of Lee and he gave it the final touch. Before ends were charged the Rangers had scored their second goal. In the second half although the Hibernian worked hard they could not prevent their opponents from making other two goals
