Played at Kennyhill Park. Rain fell during the entire game rendering the ground a perfect quadmire. About tem minutes after the start, Watson placed the first goal to the credit of the Rangers. During the remainder of the first half the goal of the Alexandra was often threatened, but McDonald who was always in the right place managed to advert its downfall except in one instance when he was charged by M McNeil. After this the Alexandra made desperate efforts to score and were at last rewarded by a goal, the ball being breasted through by Hastie. On charge of ends the leather was kept pretty much in the Alexandra territory and the game resulted in favour of the Rangers by six goals to one
