These teams met in a holiday fixture at Central Park, Aberdeen yesterday afternoon in beautiful weather. The Rangers kicked off, and at once attacked, but Knowles smartly returned. Hamilton saved a swift shot, which resulted in play settling down in midfield. The Vics. broke away, but without success. The Rangers got the leather well down the field, and May opened the scoring. Smith and Drummond were strong in the defence, and repulsed almost any rush made by the Vics. Wilkie added a second goal for the visitors. Murray and Knowles were powerless in checking a rush by the Rangers and a third goal was added by Speedie. On restarting the Vics. showed up better and reached the vicinity of the goalmouth, but without ant result. From a pass from the right wing, Speedie scored a fourth, while Wilkie added a fifth, that player taking the ball from midfield. The Vics. proved fruitless and the game resulted in Graham and A Smith scoring the sixth and seventh goals respectively. Scorers Rangers 7 goals: Victoria United
