Match Trivia

This match was played at the ground of the former Ibrox Park, and resulted in a draw – one goal each. The Rangers won the toss and played with the wind in their favour. The leather was run up to the stranger’s citadel, but was soon driven back to midfield, where some good passing was witnessed, and ultimately resulted in a goal for the Saints. No further scoring took lace during the first half. On play being resumed, the home team played a good deal better, and about a quarter of an hour after Brand equalised matters by making a point for the home team. No further scoring took place on either side and when the whistle was blown the game stood as follows – St Bernards 1 goal Rangers 1 goal. Both clubs played one man short
