Match Trivia

The 5th KRV had a visit from Glasgow Rangers on Saturday, and a very friendly game was played at Palmerston Park in present of a fair number of spectators. The Rangers began the attack, and in a short time gained a lucky goal from a free kick. The Volunteers, however, played a determined game, and R Moffat scored with a high ball, while Little gave them the lead with a clever shot shortly before half-time. On resuming, the game became faster, and Morrison soon made the score even. Up till the close the visitors kept pretty hard at work, and ultimately won by 4 goals to 2
