At Cathkin Park, last night 3rd Lanark and Rangers met in the Glasgow League, there was a good attendance. Winning the toss the 3rd Lanark had in the first half the advantage of a good wind. Rangers however were the first to press, and early in the game Speedie converted a fine pass from McColl into a goal. 3rd Lanark were not long under the disadvantage of a goal down. With a grand individual effort Coll made the score equal. There was no further scoring in the first half. The game had hardly been resumed when Kyle gave the Ibrox side a second goal, and McColl shortly afterwards scored a third. Just before time Walker gave the Light Blues a fourth.
