Match Trivia

Played at Powerhall Edinburgh, and resulted in favour of the Glasgow team by 2 goals to nil. The visitors started the game, and it once assumed the offensive, but Baillie retained his colours, and a run by the home forwards followed. The Rangers again made an attack on the home goal, and from a splendid centre the ball was rushed between the posts. The home team retaliated, and Heggie was prominent by a good dribbling run down the centre, and after eluding the backs he narrowly missed scoring. Fast play followed, and up to halftime no further score had been made. After changing ends the first point of interest was a clever run by the home left wing, and the ball was entrusted to Heggie whose parting shot was stopped by Chalmers. McKenzie broke away and after dogging his opponents he scored a second goal for the Rangers. The game continued fast and well contested, but no further points were gained by either team.
