Match Trivia

At Ibrox Park last night these teams met in the Glasgow League, and a capital game was witnessed by about 2000 spectators. In the first half play was equally divided with what little superiority there was in favour of the Rangers. Both sets of forwards were woefully week in shooting, and several chances notably opportunities, which came to McColl, and Smith went a begging. The second half was a repetition of the first though there was a distinct revival of the Third Lanark, who persistently attacked Sinclair without material result. Five minutes from time McKenzie was hurt and had to retire. The result was a draw no scoring. The outstanding players were Campbell, Raeside, McColl and McKenzie.
