This match was played at Kinning Park in most unfavourable weather and in present of a fine turnout of spectators. The Mauchline who had the assistance of Dr Smith (Queen’s Park) played up well during the first half and managed to score twice before the Rangers had obtained a single point. At half time the game stood Mauchline 2 goals Rangers 1 goal. On changing ends however the Rangers soon equalised and at the end after some fine lay by the forwards division they had added other three goals thus securing their fourth victory this season by five goals to two.
