There was a good gathering on Kinning Park to witness the match between these two teams. In the first part of the game the Rangers had enough to do in staving off the play of the Lennox men, but as the game progressed it was evident the two teams were well matched, and some hard work was accomplished on both sides. Half time brought no goals. Every effort was exerted however in the second half to score, and runs were made creditable alike to both sides; but the game which was indeed a hard fought one, ended in a draw
