At Ibrox Park, Govan in fine weather, but on a snow covered field. The strangers started the game 5 minutes late, and had to act at once on the defence, which however was so good that the Rangers could only cross over at halftime with a goal lead, Mackie scored with a shot, which Craig was unable to save. Shortly after resuming the second half, Drummond the Rangers well-known back, had to leave the field owing to an accident, which mat prevent him again taking the field this season.
