Davie Meiklejohn Benefit Match. Two thousand people defied the rain and attended Davie Meiklejohn’s benefit match at Ibrox. They were treated to as fine an exhibition as one could which to see. There was nothing of the ‘soft stuff’ about it. Rangers with but three of their ‘regulars’, were certainly not four goals inferior to Huddersfield Town, who nevertheless, thoroughly deserved their victory.
