Played at Ibrox Park, Govan last night. Notwithstanding the inclement weather there were at least 3000 spectators present. Losing the toss the Rangers kicked off against a strong breeze. The Hibernian were soon round Haddow, but five minutes had gone ere Smith scored their first goal. The Rangers retaliated, and for a time the Hibernian defence had its work cut out. A Smith equalised from a scrimmage. Both teams strove hard to put on the winning point, but neither could find an opening. Halftime result – Rangers 1 goal: Hibernian 1 goal. The second half was hotly contested, each goal being assailed in turn. Haddow was in great form for the Rangers. Ten minutes before the close Murray put on the second goal for the Hibernian. No further scoring took place. Result – Hibernian 2 goals: Rangers 1 goal
