Match Trivia

At Ibrox Park the Academicals did well only to lose by a couple got by Campbell in the second half, but they has to thank the defence and the weak shooting of the home forwards for their creditable position. Late in the game the Hamilton men showed a glimpse of recent form. Slavin kept a splendid goal and Roxburgh was sound at back. The halves were strenuous workers, and were accountable for the non-success of their opponents. Smith and McFarlane were injured in the first half and had to retire. Galt was rested by the winners, and Taylor got the opportunity to show his merit at half-back. Noble of Broxburn created a good impression by his play on the right.
