This game was played at Ibrox Park on Saturday. Dundee opened in fine brisk fashion and aided by the faulty clearance of the Rangers backs, they made quite a prolonged stay round Sinclair, who however saved well. From a breakaway Walker centred and McColl scored, and although Dundee continued to have the better of matters they shot very poorly, and Rangers crossed over leading by 1 goals to 0. At the start of the second half McDiarmid equalised but thereafter the Dundee defence had a strong pressure to content against. Ultimately Mackie scored the leading point, and Rangers won by 2 goals to 1 a result, which does not give Dundee credit they deserve
