Match Trivia

Played at Ibrox Park before about 6000 spectators in fine weather. Dundee started well, and scored in about six minutes through McDiarmid, but the Rangers replied with a brilliant footwork and shooting, scoring thrice in about twelve minutes. Play was fairly equal till the interval, which was reached with the score – Rangers 3: Dundee 1. As in the first half, the Tayside forwards had the first goal on the restart, and to equal was the succeeding play that several time each team was within as ace of scoring. Hamilton however, from a capital pass by Speedie, scored a fourth for the Ibrox team. Result – Rangers 4: Dundee 2.
