The return League match between these clubs was played on Ibrox Park, before 9000 spectators. The ground was in splendid order having been well preserved during the week. Dundee played with the wind in the first half, and plated a smart close passing strong game, but Dickie saved well, and half an hour had gone ere Bell opened the scoring. Play to the interval was even. Halftime score – Dundee 1 goal: Rangers 0. The second half saw an improvement in the play of the Rangers, which was shown in their frequent visits to Muir’s goal, and from a corner kick Gibson equalised.
