It was not surprising to find a good attendance at Ibrox Park yesterday afternoon for the benefit match between Rangers and Clyde for James Gordon, the popular half-back of the former club. Since he became a senior five seasons ago the ex-Renfrew Victoria and International junior has fulfilled expectations, and has had no better season than the present so far as it has gone. There were a number of young players on trial in yesterday’s match, and the play was quite interesting. Parker, the centre got two goals for the Rangers, and Allan did a similar service for the Clyde. At the interval relay races between the local companies of the Boy’s Brigade and the public schools of the district took place. The 108th Company won the BB event and Balshagray the school’s race
