Match Trivia

Played at Ibrox Park before about 5000 spectators. The Clyde had the assistance of three Celtic players, but they did not seem to be much improvement on the men they displaced, as from the start the Rangers had the better of the exchanges, and scored four time in the first half, Smith having two and Sharp and McPherson one each. Halftime result – Rangers 4 goals: Clyde 0. The second half was a little more interesting, the Clyde having several tries at Dickie’s goal, but they lacked cohesions, and were unable to score. The Rangers scored other three goals, McPherson being responsible for two and Hamilton for one. Result – Rangers 7 goals: Clyde 0
