Match Trivia

The Rangers has as their visitors to Ibrox Park on Saturday their old friends of Battlefield, and a very enjoyable meeting was the consequence. The Rangers however, who have been keeping up their form pretty well this season, were too good for their opponents, and defeated them by three goals to none. In the first part of the game the Rangers played against the wind, and at the start, and indeed, for some time, the play was petty even. The Battlefield made several close runs up on the Rangers lines, but the backs played very well, and prevented their men from getting in, and when halftime arrived the score stood at one goal for the Rangers and none for Battlefield. In the second round the home had the wind in their favour, and had by far the most of the play, and during the forty-five minutes play succeeded in adding other tow goals, thus winning by three goals to none.
