Rangers’ victory over Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park was a decisive as it was deserved. From Start to finish they dominated the situation and but for the determined defence of Barton and Moyes, who withstood the Ibrox onslaught with skill and fortitude, the score might easily have been greater. Rangers led at the interval by a goal, scored brilliantly by Henderson, but after the turn-about they right away set about translating their outfield superiority into goals. Within as many minutes Henderson had put them two up, and he and Archibald added a couple more. Raith were disjoined forward, where only Turner and James showed anything like their ordinary skill.
