Match Trivia

Advantage was taken of Port Glasgow Spring Holiday yesterday to play a friendly game between the above teams. The contest took place at Port Glasgow, but owing to the wretched weather there was only a small attendance. The game was fairly interesting despite the deportable ground. J Walker of the Rangers was prominent throughout and following a goal by Thomson he scored on three occasions. Port Glasgow found Dickie in fine form but managed to beat him twice and the result was – Rangers 4 goals: Port Glasgow 2 goals
