Match Trivia

Last night at Meadowside these clubs met in a match for the benefit of the Partick Nurses Benevolent Fund. The game ended in a win for the home side by 1 goal to 0. Graham (Rockbank) was a distinct success at right back for the local team, and with Harvey shared the honours of defence. Harry Speedie a younger brother to Finlay Speedie, who was included in the Rangers front line, gave a promising display. Dunlop the stalwart centre-half of Levern Victoria, was also prominent for the Ibrox team. The loses were a shade the cleverer to be desired. ‘Williams’ gave a good account of himself, and got the only goal of the match five minutes after the start
