Match Trivia
This tie came off on the ground of the Athletic at Kelvinside, and ended in favour of the Rangers by the extra ordinary score of thirteen goals to nothing. In the first round the Ibrox club scored seven goals against the wind, and on ends being changed they succeeded by brilliant play in adding other six. The front division of the victors worked splendidly together, and the combination will no doubt be heard of to advantage during the season.
