This tie, which was drawn at Goodison Park on Thursday, was replayed at Celtic Park on Saturday before fully 12,000 spectators. Play was rather tame in the opening stages till Speedie sent a soft ball past Kitchen, the goalkeeper evidently thinking the ball was going past.
