Match Trivia
Rangers met Dundee at Dens Park in a League match before 10,000 spectators. Dundee opened in surprising style, and Dickie had to fist out in the first minute. White scored for Dundee, and followed with a second. Dundee were two goals up in 15 minutes. The Rangers were seldom in it, and Dundees defence was sound. With a long high shot, which Dickie foozled, McDiarmid scored Dundees third goal. Halftime Dundee 3: Rangers 0. Rangers showed up better in the second half. Neil scored from a penalty given against Darroch for fouling Hamilton. The final result was Dundee 3: Rangers 1. The total drawings amounted to over £330
