On Monday the Rangers brought down a very strong team to oppose Clydebank Juniors in a benefit, this being in return for Rangers getting Speedie and Fraser. The attendance would number fully 3,000, and right from the start the excitement amongst the spectators was kept up by the grand play of the Rangers. Speedie, in particular, fairly delighted the crowd by the runs he was taking to the Juniors’ goal, and then returning back again. The score at the finish was – Rangers 4; Juniors 1
