Match Trivia
Played at Parkhead before 7000 spectators. The Rangers pressed at the start and Low scored the first goal at short range. A mistake by Watson let in McColl, who missed badly, but the centre forward beat Adams next minute with a grand high shot. Quinn for Celtic had bad luck with two fine shots. Halftime – Rangers 2: Celtic 0. The home team were very weak at goal in the second half, and failed repeatedly though they gained several corners. Both teams fell away before the finish, and a poor gamed ended in favour of the Rangers by 2 goals to 0. Stark, Fraser and Henderson were very good for the winners, and Orr, McNair and Hay were the best of a poor Celtic eleven. The gate and stands amounted to £184
