Match Trivia

The Wanderers started the ball on a very hard and slippery ground, and at once pressed and had several chances, but shot badly. Gow and Hendry kicked well. Good work by the Wanderers forwards again too the ball up, Weir only just missing scoring with a very fast shot. Cooper was only just wide. Directly afterwards the Rangers had two free kick, and then the Wanderers hit the crossbar. After Reid had missed the ball, however Weir put on a goal, Brogan only just missing directly afterwards. The Rangers had two corners, as also had the Wanderers, but neither side could do more, the Wanderers leading at the half-time by one goal to nil. In the second half a fog came down so thick that very little of the game could be seen. The Wanderers scored from a scrimmage, in which Brogan was badly hurt, though he came on the field again.
