‘Soti’ initially joined the Club on loan during the winter transfer window of season 2004/05 and would go on to play a major part in helping Rangers secure the league title (Helicopter Sunday) whilst also memorably scoring twice in the 5-1 League Cup Final thrashing of Motherwell.
Returning to Ibrox on a permanent deal for 2005/06, the Greek Internationalist would make a total of 57 appearances during his two seasons, scoring 5 times. He would later become a team mate of Steven Gerrard at Liverpool.
