Roy Carroll (2008)
A big money signing for Man Utd back in 2001 (where he won both the Premier League and FA Cup), goalkeeper Roy Carroll joined Rangers in the summer of 2007.
Unable to dislodge Allan McGregor from the first team, Roy’s sole competitive first team outing came during a 4-0 win over East Fife in the League Cup at Ibrox.
Capped 45 times for Northern Ireland, Roy played into his 40’s and enjoyed spells overseas in Denmark and Greece.
