At Ibrox Park, Govan for the benefit of John May, before a small attendance. Considering the scratch nature of the teams the game all through was a pretty one to watch. Falkirk scored through Mitchell and after Robey had missed from a penalty kick May equalised. The team’s crossing over level. Early in the second half Robey put his side ahead, but Falkirk playing a fine forward game particularly of the right wing added three goals through Mitchell, McMillan and Skene, and in the end won easily.
