Match Trivia

The fog at Valley Parade spoilt what would otherwise have been very interesting fixture. Glasgow Rangers put in their full League team, and somewhere between five and six thousand spectators watched the game. It is impossible to describe in any details the play, which very often could not be seen. The Rangers despite the fact that the result was a draw, showed themselves the superior team. Drain started the ball towards the Bradford end, each end being visited in turn, Smith scoring after a quarter of an hour. Half-time score – Glasgow Rangers 1 goal, Bradford City none. After the resumption Conlin kicked across and Jefferson or McGeachan scored. Nothing more was done, through the Rangers did the bulk of the pressing. Result – Bradford City 1 goal; Glasgow Rangers 1 goal
