These teams met last night at Ibrox Park in a match, the proceeds of which go to the Govan Distress Relief Fund. Neither side was at full strength a number of prominent juniors being tried. The light blues however had the measure of their opponents almost from the start, and scored twice in the first half, and three time in the second half, Mackie and Speedie registering two each, and Gilchrist the other. Izatt scored the only goal for Partick Thistle who retired defeated by five goals to one
