The Scottish Cup holders visited Larkhall last night to engaged the Royal Albert. There was a large attendance and the evening was fine. The Rangers kicked off and the Albert forwards were first to attack. Albert scored first after 20 minutes through Gallacher. The game was evenly contested, and Albert led at the interval 1-0. The second half was not long in progress till Rangers cored their first goal. A second fell to MacDonald and Speedie gained a third point. Albert played well and Templeton gained a second point for Larkhall, and a pleasant game ended in a win for the Cup holders by 3 goals to 2
