Match Trivia

Last night the Rangers appeared at Brockville ark, Falkirk when they were given a hearty welcome from about 3000 spectators. Falkirk started and interesting play followed, the Rangers scoring in fifteen minutes by Hamilton. Falkirk had a grand chance to equalise, but they did not make the most of it. Willie Kemp the home club’s outside left-winger, gave a rare smart display. At halftime the score stood – Rangers 1: Falkirk 0. After a quarter of an hour’s play in the second half Hamilton secured a second goal, but he was obviously offside. Falkirk played good football, and although they had several creditable attempts at Dickie they were not class enough for the First Leaguers, but all over they made a good stand
