Match Trivia

The Scottish Cup holders visited Stenhousemuir yesterday, and engaged the local team. The match proved a big attraction, and there were over 3000 spectators present. The ‘Light Blues’ started, and for about a quarter of an hour the local lads stood their ground well, but ultimately the Rangers found the net Hyslop sending in a fir rocket of a shot. Half a dozen were sent past Kennedy before the interval arrived at which time the ‘Warriors’ hadn’t scored. In ten minutes after the resumption the visitors has raised their total to double figures. Hamilton scoring a couple and Low and Glen adding a unit a piece. At 20 minutes the Stenhousemuir men scored the only goal for their side – and from a penalty kick. The Rangers simply did as they pleased with their opponents, and ran out winners by thirteen goals to one.
