At Leicester, the home team not being very representative. Leicester won the toss, and the game opened evenly. Eventually Hill scored for the Fosse, who continued to press until thirty-five minutes from the start, when McPherson equalised. More even play ensued, but half-time arrived without a change in the score. In the second half the Fosse had wind and sun against them. The Rangers scored, and won a wee contested match. Result :- Glasgow Rangers 2; Leicester Fosse 1.
