Played at Ibrox before about 5000. Opening against the wind, Rangers early took the game in hand, and after Hamilton missed an open goal he beat Robertson with his second attempt. For the visitors Donnachie and Turnbull worked hard for the equaliser, but they could not beat the defence of Craig and Fraser. Before crossing over Smith added a second goal.
