These teams met on Ibrox Park, in presence of a crowd numbering 20,000, the elements were favourable and the condition of the turf loins itself to a smart display. The Third latterly worn down their opponents, and Campbell after the most brilliant run of the day, gave Wardrop a chance to score, and he had no difficulty in beating Dickie.
