In the second half, some good play was shown by the Rangers, Hyslop and A Smith being to the fore with tricky passing, and Hunter had his work cut out to keep them from scoring. At the other end, Blackmore and Scotson both had opportunities of scoring, but did not utilise them, and the Rangers very speedily again applied pressure, and from a shot by Dunlop Chappell stopped the ball but did not clear sufficiently, and Hyslop bounded in and shot into the net, while Chappell was on the ground. The Rangers scored a third by Wilkie from a pass by Campbell. Result – Glasgow Rangers 3: Manchester City 0
