Played at Barrowfield Park and after a very fast and exciting match resulted in favour of the Clyde by one goal to none. The Rangers lost the toss and kicked off against a stiff breeze, but the Clyde forwards got on the ball and with the wind at their backs fairly hammed in the Rangers and scored the only goal of the match five minutes from the start. At halftime the Rangers crossed over with the light hearts as with one goal against them and a stiff breeze at their backs they were confident of soon equalising matters. The second half was fought mostly on the Clyde’s territory but their defence was so good that the Rangers were unable to get one past the Clyde goalkeeper.
